![]() Providing Services for the Elderly, Disabled,
and Homebound
A message from Eric Harris,VICaP PresidentNeighbors,
I am honored to serve for another year the Sierra Vista Volunteer Interfaith Caregiver Program as 2011 board president
The volunteers, staff, board members and officers of VICaP want to thank the Neighbors, Church and Faith Groups, Organizations, Corporate Sponsors, and Foundations that are partnering with VICaP to provide important services for the Elderly, Disabled, and Homebound in Sierra Vista, Benson and surrounding Arizona communities. In working together, we are improving the quality of life for many members of our communities, while demonstrating the shared values of VICaP's members and sponsors.
I would also like to personally thank VICaP's Staff and Volunteers, because without you we could not provide these services. Our Volunteers are some of the most dedicated people I have ever met, donating many hours and driving thousands of miles each year.
Since the elderly are the fastest growing segment of the population and most would prefer to live independently as long as possible, transportation is critical to their independence and staying connected to the community. I welcome your becoming a part of this caring community.
Won't you consider contributing some of your talents and energy, or monetary support, to this enriching and fulfilling endeavor? I welcome any questions or concerns you might have. Please feel free to contact me at vicap,boardmember79@gmail.com . |
