Autumn Newsletter
Vicap would like to thank everyone that provided support and attended our recent Outback Luncheon fundraiser. It was very successful. Special thanks to Mike Cieszinski, Outback proprietor, and his staff, without whom the event would not have been possible. Our volunteers' efforts made the event a sellout, and special recognition must be given to Lester Feutz, volunteer and VICaP Board Member, who sold the most tickets by far.
VICaP is pleased to announce that the Pheonix Suns have provided a generous grant in support of our operations. Our President, Eric Harris, recently attended the Suns' award presentation in Pheonix. Without the support of our neighbors, Churches and faith groups, Organizations, Grantors, and VICaP's Fundraising activities, we could not continue to provide services to the elderly, disabled and home-bound residents of Sierra Vista, Benson, and surrounding areas.

Yardsale, 8am
VICaP is now collecting good, used items for the annual yard sale. We have a small amount of storage available for items that ?have to go, NOW!? Otherwise, we can accept your donation on either October 13 or 14 at the sale location, 2033 Chantilly Dr.
Board of Directors
The annual election for members of the VICaP Board of Directors will be in January 2012. The Bylaws prevent the current treasurer, George Pradel for running for another term beyond 2012. Therefore, we are seeking a volunteer who is interested in filling this position. This volunteer will serve as Bookkeeper until the election of the new Treasurer. VICaP uses Quickbooks software and there is an office computer dedicated for the use of the treasurer. Training and on the job mentoring is available.
Chaplain
Chaplain Ron Neeley, a non-denominational chaplain volunteering with Salvation Army, has reached out to VICaP and offered to share his skills. If you are in contact with anyone who wants spiritual counseling or pastoral visits or services, please call VICaP.
